easyJet A319 Cabin by WexDub
As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, I found an interesting article on CNN’s website about the carry-on abuse that is happening (and may get worse!). There are several issues that many travelers may come across:
- Some passengers may have too much carry-on with them. Size and quantity are not always enforced.
- Some passengers are not putting carry-on in the overhead bins properly.
- Some passengers may use up space under other passenger’s seats for additional stowaway room.
The flight attendants do not want to get involved, as they are preoccupied with other matters. The article also reports that according to their numbers, passengers are still checking in bags, despite the fees and inconveniences associated with them. Perhaps somebody needs to tell them about http://www.CarryOnOnly.com?
Here’s the news article:

Beach Sunset HDR by J. Kraemer
With the U.S. recession fully underway and much of the world in the same boat, everybody is looking for a way to save money. The good news is that your money can go far despite these setbacks. It just takes some guts to go out there and be willing to explore a new country where you can live for incredibly cheap. Does living in warm, tropical weather for $400 a month sound appealing to you? Then read on…

As the avid travelers we all are, one of the most common questions we will get is, “Why do you travel?” One of the most common replies to that very question is, “I want to see what the world has to offer and experience the different lifestyles out there.” Some replies may also touch upon the quest for (more) happiness, new opportunities, or even a new meaning in life. There is no doubt that travelling, especially for an extended period of time, can carry many deep, personal meanings for an individual.
One of the most eye-opening travel books I have read in 2008 touches upon the idea of the search for happiness while exploring the world. Eric Weiner’s “Geography of Bliss” contemplates a soul’s search for happiness, and where he finds it is not where most people would think you’d find it.

After you have finalized your packing list using our SlimPacker tool, there’s still a question to be answered: what carry-on luggage is good to carry my items? Presenting the Tumi T3 22″ wheeled suitcase (part #6443):

Now some of you may be thinking ‘Tumi? Too expensive.’ Let me assure you that this carry-on is extremely durable and will last you throughout your travels around the world. When it comes to buying products, my philosophy is good quality over price. I hope you share the same view. Now let’s get to the review.
